Project Description
Cameo, a stylish apartment complex, features 262-units, a type 3 framing SOG wrap. The building offers a range of amenities to enhance residents’ lifestyles, including a central courtyard with pool, spa, BBQs, and cabanas. Two rooftop decks provide additional communal spaces with custom fireplaces and kitchenettes. Other facilities include a residential lounge, fitness center, yoga rooms, pet washing stations, and a dedicated dog park, ensuring a comprehensive and enjoyable living experience at Cameo.

- General Contractor: Clark Builders Group (CBG)
- Duration: Orange, CA
Work Experience
I was brought onto Cameo in response to the unprecedent challenges presented by COVID, stepping in to fill several vacant roles within the team. I was initially tasked with overseeing a handful of struggling subcontractors. By providing them with extra attention and guidance; by keeping them focused on priority lists, I was able to coach them back up to speed. As the project progressed, my responsibilities quickly expanded to include managing a team of three assistant superintendents and a field engineer, while also overseeing specific areas of the project myself.
To ensure smooth operations, I established clear responsibilities and accountability measures. I upheld stringent quality control standards throughout the project, which ensured a smooth punchlist process. The punchlist was completed with zero outstanding items by project completion. The last day of the contract marked the last day staff was onsite.
We successfully completed Cameo on time and within budget. This experience allowed me to further develop my leadership abilities and management practices, which ultimately played a major part in the project’s overall success.
