Gas Firepit and Bathroom Subfloor Repair

The homeowners hired us to install a new natural-gas line for a backyard firepit and BBQ. The additional gas demand required coordination with the utility to upsize the gas meter, modifications to portions of the existing gas piping in the crawlspace, and the installation of a new branch line extending to the backyard.

While working in the crawlspace, we noticed signs of a leak beneath one of the bathrooms. Further investigation revealed that the subfloor around the toilet had deteriorated from prolonged moisture exposure. The homeowners had also noticed that several floor tiles in the bathroom had begun to loosen.

The homeowners wanted to repair the bathroom before additional damage occurred. We removed the tile flooring, repaired the damaged subfloor, and restored the bathroom.
